MA YANSONG

Beijing-born architect Ma Yansong holds a Master’s Degree from the Yale University. He is the first Chinese architect to design an overseas landmark. In recent years, Ma follows the design philosophy “Shanshui City” that aims to create a new balance among human, nature and society through architecture. Since the “Floating Island” in 2002, Ma has created a series of imaginative works, including Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, Absolute Towers, Hutong Bubble 32, Ordos Museum, and Harbin Cultural Island, etc.
